John learned to cook at his family’s gourmet Italian restaurant, ‘Camille’s Roman Garden’ in Providence. After working there for over 20 years in various positions, he transitioned to the healthcare industry. In 8 years, John has worked at a handful of facilities, both assisted living and skilled nursing, starting as a Dietary aide. Learning about all of the various regulations, he has worked in all positions in a healthcare kitchen, providing him an excellent perspective in managing this very important component of St. Clare-Newport. Fortunately for our residents and staff, John has brought some of his family recipes with him and we are enjoying some real Italian specialties!
